Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and responsible individual to join our team as an assistant pool manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the pool manager in the day-to-day operations of the pool, including supervising staff, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and providing excellent customer service to all patrons. All necessary training will be done on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

● Assist the pool manager in overseeing the daily operations of the pool, including opening and closing procedures, monitoring chemical levels, and ensuring equipment are in good working order.

● Supervise pool staff, including lifeguards, and ensure they are following all safety protocols and providing excellent customer service to all members.

● Respond to member concerns in a timely and professional manner and escalate any issues to the pool manager as necessary.

● Conduct regular safety checks of the pool area and equipment and take appropriate action to correct any issues.

● Maintain accurate records of pool usage, staff schedules, and inventory levels, and assist the pool manager with scheduling.

Qualifications:

● High school diploma or equivalent.

● Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a pool environment, including lifeguarding and/or pool management.

● Current lifeguard certification and CPR/First Aid certification.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

● Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

● Ability to work weekends and holidays and be on call for emergencies outside of regular business hours.
