Hobbs Brewing Company is seeking a motivated, passionate Assistant Brewer who is interested in joining our Hobbs family. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in craft beer and willing and excited to learn and grow with us. This is a full-time position, with pay negotiable based on experience, and a great opportunity for a hard working and self-motivated individual to learn alongside our head brewer, taproom and sales staff and develop a career in the craft beer industry.

Job Responsibilities:

• Reports to head brewer
• Assist the brewer in all aspects of wort production, cellaring, and packaging
• Learn to operate, clean, maintain and diagnose problems with our packaging line
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, including but not limited to tank CIP and SIP, cleaning floors, drains and outside surfaces of tanks, safe and meticulous chemical handling, etc.
• Assist with beer QC and fermentation tracking using various testing and measuring devices with an importance on attention to detail and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment

• Minimum 1 year of brewing experience, required

Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in cellaring and brewing production is valued, but willing to train the right candidate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
