Position: Assistant Coordinator

Department: Managed Care Admin

Responsibilities:

  • Process formulas and create pivots in Excel to summarize the provider’s enrollment status
  • Create and save Medicaid verification documentation in provider’s record in MD-Staff
  • Identify providers not found in query and notify respective teams responsible for Medicaid enrollment
  • Update MD-Staff with Medicaid enrollment data
  • Serve as key liaison to Central Office, Centralized Credentialing team, Local Medical Staff Offices, Managed Care plans and other key stakeholders to assist with provider’s Medicaid verification requests.

Requirements:

  • One year of full-time experience in a supervisory or administrative capacity in business management systems, general administration, health care and medical/patient systems administration
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Community Health, Psychology or related discipline.

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Experience:

  • General business admin/medical administration: 1 year (Required)
  • Advance excel (Vlookups, charts and Pivot table): 1 year (Required)
  • Medicaid/Medicare: 1 year (Preferred)
