South Minneapolis Meals on Wheels is a small non profit business in Minneapolis, MN. We are professional and inclusive non profit serving our community. Our goal is to deliver nutritious meals to eligible clients, provide a personal contact and safety check to clients, and contribute to clients ability to live in their homes for as long as possible.

We are searching for an Assistant Coordinator to help support our organization. The ideal candidate is detailed oriented, able to work under pressure, have good communications skills. Having experience in a commercial kitchen and basic computer skills are a plus. Work is done in the kitchen of the program vender. Duties include; organize and heat meals for daily delivery, deliver sorted packed meals to volunteer drivers for delivery, order meals from program vender, keep detailed records of meals delivered and meals ordered, comply with safe food handling guidelines.

Work schedule would be 2 to 5 days per week, 4 hour shift through May 2023. After May, schedule would transition to Wednesday, 4 hour shift plus additional days as needed.
