ASST GENERAL MANAGER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Assist the General Manager with day to day operations. *Observes staff performance to ensure adherence to hotel policies and established operating procedures. *Provides training to staff *Acts as the hotels public relations director and promotes the property within the hotel industry, local community and trade associations. Partnering with the Sales Department *Monitor the Guest feedback and respond to reviews. *Receives and resolves or assists the General manager in resolving guest complaints and service recovery process. *Selects or assist in the selection of hotel staff and completes all new hire paperwork. *Review employee performance and conducts personnel actions such as disciplinary actions, counselling, and terminations. *Adheres to all franchise and company procedures and regulations as well as standard operating procedures. *Performs daily, weekly and monthly property inspections. *Cover shifts is all departments, first point of contact for most team members. *Audits on par stock on all areas to make sure that all required hotel supplies are ordered and stocked in advance of need. *Ensure hotel staff is provided with uniforms and name tags, and upholds property grooming standards. *Manage restaurant team members, food orders, schedule, and food safety. *All Other duties as assigned by the General Manager or Management.

PREREQUISITES:

Strong management skills, ability to appropriately assign or delegate work and authority to others in the accomplishment of goals. And provide coaching, advice and assistance as required.

Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights. You create and manage your schedule as well as your team's schedule.

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:

1+ years of Hotel Management experience required.

Hilton experience preferred.

Restaurant management preferred.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation depends on your experience.
