Eagle Rock Resort in Hazle Township, PA is seeking an experienced person for the position of Experienced Assistant Golf Course Superintendent. We have a beautiful championship 18-hole golf course plus a 9-hole executive course.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the maintenance of the different types of turf used on golf courses, and the planting, cultivating, pruning, and caring for plants, shrubs and trees

Have knowledge of drainage control methods, watering and irrigation systems, including wells, pumps and automatic controls

Have a participating knowledge of the game of golf

Be able to plan, assign and direct the work of others The Assistant Golf Course Superintendent at Eagle Rock Resort is responsible for assisting the Golf Course Superintendent in overseeing the maintenance and care of the golf course and grounds. Key responsibilities of the role include:

Supervising and training a team of grounds maintenance staff to ensure the course is maintained to the highest standards.

Assisting in the development and implementation of a comprehensive maintenance plan for the golf course, including all aspects of turfgrass management, irrigation, and pest control.

Performing regular inspections of the course to identify and address any maintenance needs or issues.

Maintaining accurate records and reports related to course maintenance and operations.

Working closely with the Golf Course Superintendent and other staff to ensure the overall success of the golf course and resort.

The Assistant Golf Course Superintendent should have a strong knowledge of golf course maintenance practices and techniques, as well as experience with turfgrass management, irrigation, and pest control. Excellent leadership and communication skills are also essential, as the role involves working closely with a team of grounds maintenance staff. Additionally, the Assistant Golf Course Superintendent should be detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
