Living Hope Homes has built new, customized resident Assisted Living Care Homes. These homes are brand new, and accommodate 4-6 residents each. We are seeking those who have a passion for assisting in a home environment that is tailored to the unique needs of each resident. We strive to meet not just the needs of our residents but want them to feel part of the Living Hope Homes family.
The assistant home manager supports home managers with various tasks while providing direct care on a full time basis. The hours for this position are 7am-3pm with a weekend and holiday rotation.
Duties include:
- Provides guidance to ULP’s by setting a positive example, and providing exemplary care for our residents
- Promotes client and staff safety by communicating effectively with management
- Assist Home Manager with Meal/menu planning
- Assist Home Manager by performing weekly inventory on grocery items, including food, household supplies and medical supplies and providing Home Manger a detailed order list
- Assists HM and RN in training and mentoring new staff in a professional manner
- Assist Home Manager in management of staff schedules
- Participate in on-call staffer rotation and be available for staffing needs and notifications.
- Assists Home Manager in ensuring any maintenance requests are submitted
- Assists Home Manager with monthly resident/family council and responds to resident concerns or complaints.
- Attend monthly staff meetings and support Home Manager, Clinical Nurse Supervisor and Assisted Living Director in any topics
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
