Our Idaho Team is rapidly growing in the Pocatello and Soda Springs area. We provide our clients with highly skilled teams that perform projects that include earthwork, underground utilities, wastewater ponds, reclamation, compressor pump stations, gas processing facilities, WWT plants, tilt up concrete structures, sub stations, and mass concrete. Asst. Project Managers will work under direct supervision of the jobsite Superintendent and Project Manager. To be successful in this role, you must be detail oriented, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work efficiently and independently to meet crucial deadlines. All candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, lift 50 lbs., and have a strong commitment to safety. A typical work schedule is 50 hours per week.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- Construction admin deliverables include:
- Submit daily reports, safety, equipment, and excavation reports.
- Maintain and update RFI, submittal, and inspection logs.
- Onsite material management
- Timecard auditing and submission
- Prepare extra work authorizations for Superintendent review.
- Digital file management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills – articulate and diplomatic manner
- Excellent computer skills
- Must be punctual and reliable.
- Always adhere to strict safety policies and procedures.
- Perform related duties and responsibilities as required by the supervisor.
- Wear all company required Personal Protective Equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness at the jobsite.
- Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- High school degree or equivalent educational experience; vocational school or trade apprenticeships a plus.
- OSHA 10/30 preferred, but not required.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Positive attitude and work ethic
- Able to work independently or as an active member of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
Working Environment and Conditions
This position requires working indoors and outdoors. While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is regularly exposed to wind, sun, rain, and cold weather.
Essential Job Functions
- Lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time.
- The employee will lift, push, pull, and carry objects using abdominal and lower back muscles.
- Requires good manual dexterity and multi-limbed coordination.
