Assistant Teacher - Will Train!
Job description
We're looking for a creative and nurturing Assistant Teacher to help our students develop valuable life skills. The Assistant Teacher will be responsible for leading small class sizes, developing lesson plans, and providing an enriching educational environment. The Assistant Teacher will utilize their skills to enhance a student's overall development and to encourage children to think independently and critically.
Responsibilities:
- Be able to work with a diverse group of children with differing backgrounds and cultures.
- Communicate thoughts and ideas effectively to children, parents, and colleagues.
- Identify when a child needs special attention and assist them as needed.
- Recognize the strengths in others and point them out to colleagues, supervisors, and higher-ups.
- Apply knowledge of child psychology techniques to interactions with children.
- Provide transportation for children between school, after-school programs and activities, etc.
