We are currently seeking talented and motivated Full Time Employees to join our Process Improvement team based in Parsippany, NJ.

Job Purpose

The Associate Solutions Consultant will work as a part of a team responsible for the internal implementation of Med-Metrix’s Suite of Revenue Cycle Technology including, but not limited to, Hospital and Professional Fee Front End Patient Access Workflow, Patient Accounting Workflow, and Denials Management Workflow. Strong candidates have an understanding of software implementations and can support the project team during all phases including the planning, design, configuration, user acceptance testing, training, delivery, and monitoring of our AnalytX Technologies.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participate in internal assessment meetings with the Med-Metrix Accounts Receivable Services department to ascertain existing workflow processes to develop design documentation in Visio that uses best practice recommendations of the Med-Metrix AnalytX Suite of Revenue Cycle Technology
  • Develop and demonstrate an understanding of the business needs, expectations, and requirements for each implementation
  • Responsible for the translation of Visio documentation to pseudocode (IF this THEN that…) intended for the MMX Development and QA Teams
  • Ability to problem solve and analyze errors based on user acceptance testing results
  • Ability to work with large data sets to identify potential improvement opportunities and present data to support these recommendations to the Med-Metrix project team
  • Support of clients utilizing the AnalytX Suite of Products after deployment
  • Diagnose application bugs and gather supporting technical documentation of issues working directly with the MMX Development and QA Teams to ensure all rules and actions are programmed to match processes outlined during design
  • Lead ongoing support calls with existing customers post Go Live
  • Use, protect and disclose patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards.
  • Limit viewing of PHI to the absolute minimum as necessary to perform assigned duties.
  • Report any security or HIPAA violations or concerns to the HIPAA Officers in a timely fashion.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years prior experience in implementing and/or supporting software applications
  • Experience documenting business rules and technical processes into logical structures and diagrams
  • Ability to understand complex software applications
  • Proven capability specifically with MS Excel and MS SQL Server with a desire to expand on those capabilities
  • Able to prioritize workload and work effectively with minimal supervision; demonstrated ability to work concurrently on multiple projects with several teams.

Working Conditions

  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overtime when needed
  • Travel to client sites may be required up to 15%
