ASSOCIATE DEAN FOR ONLINE PROGRAMS AND EXTENSION

The College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is conducting an internal search for the new position of Associate Dean for Online Programs and Extension. The Associate Dean is a senior member of the college administrative team and will provide leadership for our online programs and extension activities in a campus environment that emphasizes academic excellence and fulfillment of the Land Grant mission. Requirements include a DVM or its equivalent or a PhD.

We are seeking a candidate who has the ability and desire to drive the continued growth of our innovative online, post graduate, and post baccalaureate educational programs and deliver our extension programs as well as planning/delivering relevant conferences. The position is expected to require at least a 70% commitment on a 12-month basis. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Candidates must have a tenured or specialized faculty appointment in the college at the Associate or Full Professor rank. The appointment includes an administrative stipend and an additional 1½ months of summer salary for faculty with an academic year appointment. Anticipated starting date is on or around August 16, 2023. This is a security-sensitive position.
