JOB TITLE: Associate Director, Health Cloud Platform Lead

DUTIES: Position will serve as the solution architect and technical delivery lead supporting the Patient Services organization in the Commercial Data, Technology, and Engineering (DTE) group of Vertex Pharmaceuticals; partner with the DTE Patient Services Business Engagement Lead, vendors, and stakeholders to design, build and support technology solutions for the Patient Services organization; contribute to and advise on the Patient Services technology portfolio and roadmap, ensuring capabilities meet current and future enterprise needs at scale; provide technical leadership in the implementation of a multi-channel Patient Services CRM ecosystem, with the objective of enhancing patient and provider engagement; serve as technical subject matter expert in Salesforce Health Cloud and supporting platforms, such as integrations, analytics, telephony and fax; coordinate activities across DTE and external vendors to design and deliver solutions; manage the support and continuous enhancement of existing applications; apply a deep understanding of business needs to evaluate and recommend technical solutions; and, consult on product backlog and roadmap. Travel required up to 5%; Telecommuting permitted up to 40%
REQUIREMENTS: Position requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field plus eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or in a Associate Director, Health Cloud Platform Lead-related occupation. Experience must include the following: Demonstrable experience in biopharma technology; Demonstrable knowledge of Patient Services business processes and operations within a commercial biopharma environment; Demonstrable experience with solution architecture and technical delivery expertise in Salesforce Health Cloud and/or Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud and/or Marketo; Demonstrable knowledgeable in Business Analysis, Project Management and Agile methodologies; Demonstrable understanding of regulatory environment and drive collaboration with the Legal and Compliance team; Demonstrable technical and development expertise in Patient Services Commercial CRM platforms and related technologies; Demonstrable experience leading large agile delivery teams (20+ resources); and, Demonstrable experience evaluating and procuring agile development tools, such as automated regression frameworks, continuous integration and continuous deployment solutions. Travel required up to 5%; Telecommuting permitted up to 40%.
