Job Description:

Explosive growth has created the need for an Associate Recruiter in our Houston office. We are hiring immediately for someone to work under one of our Managing Consultants. As an Associate Recruiter, you will be working alongside our experienced consultants, helping them deliver a wide range of hiring requirements from our clients. Later, we will develop your skills as a marketer and salesperson, allowing you to build a successful career and become an Consultant.

If you have ambition and an entrepreneurial mindset, we’ll supply the training, coaching, and encouragement to help you develop. No two days are quite the same, but you will be responsible for the following things on a day to day basis:

• Collaborating with your Manager to create an effective sales approach to attract candidates
• Building professional relationships with external candidates
• Developing a network of contacts
• Sourcing leads
• Pitching and presenting
• Hitting weekly activity targets
• Identifying high performing talent through a "project focused" talent mapping process
• Headhunting through targeted cold calling to reach out to passive candidates and clients
• Negotiating pay and salary benefits for candidates
• Managing and reviewing applications, evaluating candidates, and checking their suitability for opportunities

We are offering a competitive base salary of $50,000. Once you are promoted to consultant, you will have the opportunity to earn uncapped commissions on your placements. We view our new hires as our future Managers, so there is great long-term career growth potential.

Requirements:

High School degree and 1 year of Sales experience. Must already be living in Houston, TX or in proximity. Please no out of state applicants unless already in process of relocating to Houston.

As this is an entry level recruiter role we don’t expect you to have prior recruitment experience, though 1 year of sales experience is required and some customer service experience would be beneficial and is preferred. We’re looking for new hires with enthusiasm, drive and desire to succeed for themselves and the business.
