NanoTech Pharma Inc. is an exciting biotech company using proprietary technologies for the development of complex injectable pharmaceutical drug product to target a variety of therapeutic areas based on different types of drug modalities.

We are actively seeking innovative and motivated scientists to join our R&D team. Our lab facilities are located at Hillsborough, NJ.

Responsibilities:

· Carry out organic reactions independently or under supervision to synthesize small organic molecules

· Purify target molecules with basic organic purification techniques including but not limited to crystallization, extraction, filtration and flash chromatography

· Read and adapt scientific literature to optimize reaction conditions to provide yield and purity improvements.

· Maintain an accurate and complete well-documented laboratory notebook

· Anticipate needs and plan for the purchase, use, and maintenance of laboratory equipment

· Track progress against project timelines, generate regular status updates, and report progress and issues to supervisor

· Adhere to safety practices, including but not limited to wearing proper PPE

Requirements / Qualifications:

· A BS in chemistry with a minimum of 1 years of hands-on organic chemistry laboratory experience

· A MS in Organic Chemistry, Organometallic Chemistry, or other relevant field

· Knowledge of organic chemistry principles and experience synthesizing and purifying organic compounds

· Experience with multi-step synthesis is a plus

· Experience working with and synthesis of lipids and lipid-like compounds is a plus

· Experience in drug delivery system design and development is a plus

· Ability to work with minimal supervision

· Experience with technical writing on progress reports

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
