First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking an experienced, collaborative, detail-oriented Audit Officer to join our Audit Division. Under the general direction of the Chief Audit Executive, and reporting to the Audit Manager, you will be responsible for planning, leading, and conducting internal audits of the Bank’s finance, operations, wealth management, and compliance area.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related business field, or equivalent work experience required.
- Technical and audit certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CFE are desired
- Three years of audit experience or equivalent required.
- Must have strong understanding of risk and controls and of the audit process to effectively perform and document audit tests, analyze results, and communicate audit findings.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn other business and audit software.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, decision making and follow-through skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Strong time management skills; able to handle multiple projects and competing deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to work effectively and efficiently on assigned teams.
- Strong business acumen.
