Automotive Technician / Mechanic (A or B Level)

Lucas Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is looking to hire A or B-Level Automotive Technicians to join the service team at our dealership in Lumberton, NJ. For years we have proudly served the Philadelphia-New Jersey metro area with the highest-quality vehicles, service and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have either A or B level automotive technician training with accompanying certifications. ASE certification or other applicable certifications/licenses is a huge plus. Compensation is based on level of experience and certification(s) held.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect and document condition of vehicle based on customers’ requests or concerns
• Conduct initial diagnostic testing to identify specific issues impacting vehicles
• Perform maintenance services on vehicles ranging from routine maintenance such as oil changes and lube services, to more complex services such as muffler and brake repair, electrical, transmission work or parts and component replacement
• Document all services and repairs performed to provide to service advisors and/or customers
• Identify any additional recommendations for services and communicate with management
• Communicate with other service staff and/or customers if additional services are required and ensure information is documented and outlined
• Maintain a clean and safe service department

Qualifications

• Prior automotive dealership experience or proven experience in a non-dealership repair setting required - compensation is based on experience
• A or B Level Automotive Certification
• ASE Certification or other applicable licenses/certifications is a plus
• Must have own tools
• Attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Reliable and trustworthy - we are looking for technicians who want to stay long-term

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $81,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
