Responsibilities:

The responsibilities for this position includes, customer service, operating a cash register , suggestive/ up selling and maintaining a clean and organized shop.

Our counter fairy’s are expected to provide premier customer service.They are to greet customers as they enter the shop, answer their questions knowledgeably, and provide the appropriate information they need to make product related decisions. They are expected to not only know our products but know the regular customers too. Learn their names, learn their favorite items and how they take their coffee. Make them feel important and never a burden.

Our counter fairy’s are expected to operate a cash register and maintain a balanced cash draw with no overages or shortages.

Our counter fairy’s are expected to suggestive sell products as well as up sell. Customer buying a pastry or breakfast sammie? “How would you like a coffee with that?” and “The Eclairs are my personal favorite and a must try!”

In addition, it is the counter fairy’s responsibility to keep the shop, the cases, counters, and displays clean and organized at all times.

PAY

This position pays $15 an hour plus very generous tips.

We offer PTO (paid time off) after 6 months of employment.

HOURS

We are currently seeking one candidate to cover our Mechanicville counter every Sunday from 7:30am-3:30pm. Additional hours are available for both locations when other staff call in sick, request time off, or sales requires more staffing.

LOCATION

This position is Sundays in Mechanicville 205 Park Ave Mechanicville and other days as needed both locations including 2110 Ellsworth Blvd Malta NY
