A special occasion calls for great food! As a Banquet Cook at the InterContinental Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport you will assist in creating spectacular dishes that will create memorable dining experiences for our guests.
As Banquet Cook, you will be responsible for the preparation and presentation of food served at all banquet events in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Participate in daily banquet culinary operations, to include, but not limited to, preparation and production of meals, food quality and presentation, compliance with all safety and sanitation standards and regulations.
- Visually inspect, select and use quality food and beverage products
- Analyze Banquet Event Orders to plan and coordinate the food and beverage portion of client functions
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, local and company health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Previous experience as a Banquet Cook in an upscale/luxury hotel preferred
- Experience in a Banquet culinary environment is required
- Hotel experience is preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
