Job description

We're a small coffee truck looking for an independent contractor with barista experience to help us two mornings per week and occasionally during large events. Tasks include running a Square point of sale (POS) system, taking orders from customers, handling cash in a cash box (making correct change), and taking turns with the owner making drinks. This person would also assist in prepping drinks (labeling cups, adding syrups then handing off to the owner/barista to finish making), as well as making some of the non-coffee drinks and smoothies. The work takes place in a small 9'x6' trailer.

Current available shifts are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6am-10am at a location near I-17 and Peoria. Additional work available during the first week of May. This is a 1099 position as the days or hours may fluctuate based on weather or rescheduling issues with locations or events, and you are free to turn down available shifts. Includes hourly pay plus tips, paid same day. We are accepting multiple contractors to ensure shifts are always covered.

Eligible contractors must hold and provide a current Arizona Food Handler's card, proof of citizenship (per Arizona work requirements), should have experience running a register or POS machine. Barista experience a plus. Must have reliable transportation and be able to arrive on time.
