About Rolling Hills Country Club:
Established in 1965, Rolling Hills Country Club is a private, family-friendly country club perched upon the rolling hills of Palos Verdes Peninsula with expansive skyline views of the Los Angeles Basin and San Gabriel Mountains. Job Purpose:
Mix and serve drinks to members and guests, directly or through wait staff.
Tasks:
- Check identification of members/guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
- Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.
- Attempt to limit problems and liability related to members excessive drinking by taking steps such as persuading customers to stop drinking, or ordering taxis or other transportation for intoxicated patrons.
- Stock bar with beer, wine, liquor, and related supplies such as ice, glassware, napkins, or straws.
- Serve wine, and bottled or draft beer.
- Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from members.
- Clean bars, work areas, and tables.
- Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters, to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
- Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.

- Provide customer service.
- Assist patrons to make wine selection.
- Mix drinks or flavors for mixed drinks.
- Check ID to ensure minimum age requirement is met.
- Clean rooms or work areas.
- Serve food or beverages.
- Understand government alcoholic beverage service regulations.
- Recognize customer intoxication.
- Any other duties that may apply or that are assigned.
- Follow all procedure manuals and safety.
