Shift: Mid 5x8-Hour (14:30 - 23:00)

Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced CNA/Nurse Assistant to work in our behavioral health unit. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working with psych patients, dementia, or Alzheimer's patients in a hospital setting. We will also consider candidates who have worked in a SNF/LTC as long as they have experience working with behavioral health.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of behavioral health experience working with psych patients, dementia, or Alzheimer's patients.
- Ideally, a hospital setting but will consider SNF/LTC as long as they have experience working with behavioral health.
- Comfortable with using Seclusion and restraint as a last resort.
- Must be COVID vaccinated and double-boosted prior to starting.
- Must have a temp WA state license until their perm WA license issues.
Requirements:
- Submit pending references.
- Local candidates accepted - please request the local rate.
- Weekend coverage will be determined during orientation and nurse availability.
- Overtime is available contingent on the census.
- Must be able to float to other units below.
- Forensic Services Unit (FSU) - FSU is a 95-bed inpatient unit for patients who enter the forensic (legal) unit in the hospital.
- Geropsychiatric Unit (GPU) - GPU is a 101-bed unit that provides inpatient psychiatric evaluation and treatment.
- Adult Psychiatric Unit (APU) - APU is a 91-bed unit that provides inpatient hospitalization for adults 18 to 50 years old.
