Job description
- 10-25 hours per week of structured one-on-one interaction/instruction with children with autism spectrum and related disorders in their home and/or in a community setting.
- Behavior Line Technicians provide observational data on the learning progress of their clients using technology-based systems. (iPad)
- Work under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and alongside a professional team in a collaborative environment
- Provide structured 1:1 interaction & instruction to children on the autism spectrum & other related disorders by providing in-home or community-setting Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy.
- Collect & provide observational data on the learning process.
- Implement Behavior Treatment Plans. (daily living, social, & play schemes)
- Work collaboratively with BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) & alongside a professional team to implement an individualized treatment plan for clients.
- Document client progress & graph data as instructed.
- Enter electronic data collection promptly & with accuracy.
- Be responsive to the needs & requests of clients, their families, & your supervisor.
- Be goal-oriented & maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work.
- Arrive on time & be prepared for therapy sessions.
- Commit to & follow a weekly schedule with clients.
- Willingness & ability to adapt to a variety of situations and changing behaviors.
- Be at least 18 years old.
- High School Diploma or equivalent. (minimum)
- Pass background checks & Drug Screening.
- Complete the 40-hour training course.
- Reliable transportation & willingness to travel.
- Compassionate, loving, and excellent communication skills. (both verbal and non-verbal)
- Excellent work ethic with the ability to meet scheduling commitments.
- Competitive pay is $18 - $22 based on ABA experience.
