Pro-Tops is a manufacturer of cultured granite and marble vanity tops, kitchens, and shower units. We are looking for motivated individuals to join our production team. Responsible for using and parts (bowls, bars, and tape) to produce vanity tops. Reads work orders, positions part and examines for correct fit, reports errors to supervisor. The candidate MUST have experience with a buffer, random orbital sander, hand sanding, angle grinder, belt sander, and/or previous set up experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Study and interpret work order.
• Clean and make ready the mold. Ensure all tools needed are available and in working order.
• Interpret measurements, verify specifications and parts are ready.
• Assemble parts ensure all parts are fitted and clayed in properly.
• Alter dimensions to fit specifications. Make sure mold is ready for next step (Spraying).
• Resolve production and assembly issues.
• Ensure work area is clean and safe.
• Report low stock to the purchasing department.

Work Environment:

• The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Most work is performed on the assembly area in a typical manufacturing setting. The plant layout is currently sprawling where one may be required to walk to other employees’ areas, lunchroom, supply closets, bathrooms, etc.
