Job description

This position is responsible for conducting independent medical exams daily for diagnosis and treatment. In addition, the nurse practitioner will provide primary care to PEDIATRIC patients.

A successful candidate will be a graduate of an accredited nursing school, have prior experience working in a similar position, and have at least two years of experience providing direct patient care. NO EXPERIENCE IN PEDIATRICS OR NEW GRADS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY; HOWEVER, THE SALARY RANGE MAY VARY.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat pediatric diseases and conditions, such as asthma, ear infections, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
• Screen for problems such as lead poisoning and anemia.
• Handle childhood injuries and minor illnesses.
• Assess a patient's nutrition status.
• Treat children for common complaints and chronic illnesses.
• Identify potential child abuse cases.

• Laboratory Interpretation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
