Counter Sales for Salvage Yard | $16/hr

Full-time weekday with one weekend day required.

A locally owned salvage and parts yard in South Sioux City, Nebraska is searching for a counter sales worker. This position works mostly with a team and once in a while individually. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast paced environment. Apply now while openings are available and get started as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a computer system that has all of the parts and tires for the cars.
• Will need to lift and move tires, batteries and other car parts as needed.
• Greet customers as they are coming in and take payment for them going into the yard to pull parts.
• Answer incoming phones and answer questions over the phone.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Ability to work after given direction on own
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently
• Must have own transportation.
• Must possess the ability to read, write, and speak in the English Language.
• Bi-Lingual in Spanish would be a plus.
• Must be able to reach, climb, bend, stoop, sit, and grasp
• Must be able to stand and walk 100% of the shift.
• Must be able to multi-task and learn multiple computer systems.
• Must be able to deal with different types of customers and personalities.

• Starting Pay: $16.00+ /hr
