JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for processing general billing functions for both residential and business customers.
KEY FUNCTIONS:
- Assist with all aspects of billing.
- Process advertising billing and all of the associated tasks.
- Balance and post all advertising payments.
- Assist with fundamental systems configurations, audit reports, and revenue assurance activities.
- Process all items in a timely manner.
- Serve as a secondary resource for other Billing Department functions as requested.
- Document processes and procedures to be utilized as training tools.
- Lead cross training of department staff to serve as a secondary resource(s) for essential functions detailed above.
- Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers.
- Adhere to Midco’s privacy guidelines to ensure customer and employee privacy.
- Maintain regular attendance as required by your position.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Billing Coordinator I:
- High School Diploma or GED required. Some college preferred.
- Previous billing, accounting or finance experience required.
Billing Coordinator II:
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent experience required. Focus in Finance, Accounting or Business major preferred.
- Responsible for performing all billing functions in addition to reviewing processes and auditing customer bills for both residential and business.
- Three years previous billing, accounting or finance experience required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee may occasionally lift and/or carry loads of up to 30 lbs.
- The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
- Employees may be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week and other than normal business hours, such as holidays, evenings and weekends as business demands.
