AlphaGraphics of North San Antonio is a locally owned and operated printing, signs and fulfillment company. We are part of one of the largest AlphaGraphics businesses in the nation. We are currently seeking a Bindery Technician who is a team player that loves to work on and with equipment.

This position is on first shift.

Qualifications

• Proven record of focusing on quality and attention to detail
• Superior problem solving
• Strong mechanical skills
• Must smile and laugh daily
• Demonstrated ability to work quickly and neatly while multi-tasking
• Ability to stand on your feet for a minimum of 8 hours per day and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Thrives on a fast-paced environment subject to numerous schedule and priority changes and short notice activity
• High school diploma/GED with experience or vocational/technical certification
• Must be comfortable performing repetitive tasks
• Knowledgeable on basic Math skills and able to read a ruler

• Bindery Technician experience
• Large Format/Sign Shop Experience

Responsibilities

• Manual and machine operator tasks in the setup, maintenance, and operation of cutters, collators, folders, perfect binders, and stitchers

• Complete handwork assembly according to specifications
• Clean and maintain equipment and work area following maintenance procedures and update maintenance logs
• Monitor and manage inventory of bindery supplies
• Performs routine preventive maintenance and housekeeping of bindery equipment and work area
