Job description
Eagle Global Scientific (EGS), LLC is a provider of direct healthcare and support services to government agencies, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and is seeking a Microbiologist to perform the following duties:Support services for CDC’s Next Gen Sequencing Core Lab within the Division of Viral Diseases. Assist in the development of novel and standardized bioinformatics analysis workflows for SARS-CoV-2 sequencing data, other respiratory viruses, or viral vaccine preventable diseases generated from next-generation sequencing platforms (e.g. Illumina, Nanopore). Expand capabilities of existing bioinformatic workflows to accommodate SARS-CoV-2 whole genome data. Provide technical assistance to integrate of bioinformatics workflows with existing platforms in DVD programs.
Experience:
Must have at least 2-4 years of experience
Qualifications:
Bachelors of Science in Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry or related sciences.
