Biostatistician-Associate
Job description
Job Summary:
Under direct supervision, responsible for providing statistical support for all research programs, including development of study design, selection of appropriate statistical methods, sample size calculations, and conducting statistical analysis and interpretation on data collected.
Job Duties:
- Designs and conducts analysis of clinical trials under the direction of faculty and study staff.
- Responsible for programming data related to study monitoring and analysis.
- Selects data samples, prepares questionnaires, and analyzes collected information according to established statistical methods.
- Responsible for data entry and maintenance of data files, including backups and hard copies.
- Develops charts and graphs to display results; may assist in writing research papers for publication.
- Maintains computer software and hardware.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Education:
Master's degree in a recognized field of science or learning which is directly related to the duties of the position is required.
Experience:
No years of experience is required.
