We are seeking a Vacation Rental Bookkeeper to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage accounts payable and receivable, maintain accurate records, and ensure all work orders are submitted and charged accordingly with proper documentation. The candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented and able to work closely with vendors and maintenance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accounts payable and receivable, including processing payments and invoices

Maintain accurate financial records, including reconciling bank statements and ensuring proper documentation is filed

Work closely with vendors and maintenance teams to ensure all work orders are submitted and charged accurately

Collaborate with other team members to ensure high standards of customer service are met

Communicate regularly with property owners, vendors, maintenance staff, renters and vendors to resolve any financial issues or discrepancies

Prepare financial reports and assist with budget planning as needed

Other related duties assigned

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting or related fields. Preferably in the hospitality or vacations rental industry

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Strong communication skills both verbal and written

Ability to work independently and part of a team and manage multiple priorities effectively

Experience with vacation rental management software is a plus

Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
