Boom Truck Operator-Shop Maintenance Lead (Min. Class B CDL w/ Airbrake Endorsement Required)

Professional Roofing Services, Inc. has an exceptional opportunity for a boom truck operator-shop maintenance lead. Class A or B CDL with air brake endorsement is required. Crane certification ( NCCCO certified or equivalent) preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate!!!

We are located at 2957 Park Drive, Mount Airy, NC and have a position open for you to start immediately!

Boom Truck Operator Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain and Inspect truck/trailer for safe operation
• Safely operate company vehicle to load and unload materials at commercial job sites
• Deliver materials to assigned area as directed while prioritizing personal safety and the safety of those around you
• Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations
• Ability to lift/position building materials as needed
• Climb ladder as needed
• Perform additional maintenance duties as requested

Shop Maintenance Lead Job Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain vehicles and trailers- including proper fuel and fluid levels, tire pressure, brakes, lights, and safety equipment. Take to repair shop as needed
• Keep vehicle preventative maintenance schedule
• Office/shop maintenance to include- mowing, weed eating, change air/water filters, inspect fire extinguishers, etc.
• Small engine maintenance/minor repairs to include- change oil/spark plugs, clean carburetors, etc.
• Keep shop inventory organized
• Shop cleanup and housekeeping responsibilities
• Shop clean-up and housekeeping responsibilities

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B (required)
• Air Brake Endorsement (required)
• NCCCO certified or equivalent (Preferred, but willing to train the right candidate)
