Like to be up early in the morning?

Doubletree by Hilton Bemidji is looking for a full service breakfast cook. Hours are 5am - 12:30/1pm.

Our Wakeup Doubletree Breakfast includes full Buffet and Menu choices. Beyond serving our guests we are also open to the public. We have an open kitchen so the Guests can see their breakfast being made. With that being said we are looking for breakfast cook that has Customer service skills and likes to be organized while cooking quality items.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Delight our Guests by providing quality and timely prepared foods
• Follow sanitation guidelines
• Adhere to safety procedures
• Practice cost-cutting measures
• Pitch in and work as part of a team
• Report to work
• Stock and rotate food
• Handle equipment, appliances, supplies, and tools
• Perform opening procedures
• Organize and prepare for your shift
• Perform operating procedures
• Prepare and cook food items
• Perform ongoing duties
• Process and manage food tickets
• Track food quality
• Handle special circumstances
• Communicate effectively with co-workers and managers
• Notify the Server of completed orders
• Assist in the training of new employees
• Perform additional tasks requested by your manager
• Perform closing procedures

Qualifications:

Must possess a positive attitudeand work well with other team members

• Must be able to read and followa recipe unsupervised

• Must be able to communicateclearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel.

• Be able to reach, bend, stoopand frequently lift up to 40 pounds

• Be able to work in a standingposition for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).

• Be willing to follow directionand ask questions for clarification if needed.

• Be able to work in a fast pacedkitchen environment
