Position Description



The Business Support Product Manager serves as a designer responsible for aligning and improving core business processes in Region North America to drive customer success. The Business Support Product Manager acts as liaison between the development team and end users by defining product features necessary to create value in all our core processes. They plan, direct and coordinate continuous improvement activities, working closely with all aspects of VFS end to end processes from business development and originations through to end of lease and remarketing.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for determining the expectations of customers and dealers on new or already existing products
  • Responsible for identifying internal and external user needs and working with cross-functional teams to manage implementation of product releases.
  • Refine processes to support development of automation
  • Identification of market trends to ensure proposed solution delivers the newest ideas and the most up-to-date features
  • Responsible for conducting demonstrations of product to both internal and external users and making revisions to features after every iteration, as needed
  • Contact customers and end users to obtain information on expected product features
  • Analyze customer usage and feedback to determine features or components that will add good value to a product
  • Assess product value stream to identify areas that require improvements and prioritize features according to business need
  • Create test plans and coordinate User Acceptance Testing actions necessary to identify software/system defects and adherence to business specifications
  • Develop timelines for release dates and content
  • Accept or reject work results produced by the software development team
  • Manage and develop product backlog, as well as user stories backlog for implementation
  • Utilize creative approaches to problem solving and quality deliverables supporting business needs
  • Monitor the progress of product development, as well as plan for product release
  • Measure product performance as well as value delivered in order to make adjustments where necessary
  • Responsible for the payback of product or process implementation (ROI)
  • Provide reports to update management and stakeholders on product development operations
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
  • BS/BA degree in Business or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Financial Services organization

  • Proficiency in using MS Office 365 and financial software packages.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI and Qlik.
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification a plus
  • Strong background in financial services operations is preferred

Basic knowledge of financial statements and legal documents
