SUMMARY: GBU’s Technology group is looking to add a Business Systems Analyst to the team supporting our Policy Administration System (LifePro). The Business Systems Analyst will work with end users, vendors, developers, and other stakeholders to support in-force business, product setup, agent/commission setup, and new business functions. The candidate will support technology transformation and relevant process improvements for a mission-critical system.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support and maintain the Policy Administration System (LifePro);
  • Support system upgrades, conversions, and external integrations;
  • Look for opportunities to improve processes and improve internal system user experience and productivity;
  • Conduct walkthroughs and workshops with Policy Admin System end-users;
  • Serve as SME on Policy Admin System APIs and Data Dictionary;
  • Analyze/create workflows and processes;
  • Create functional and product specifications and other project and process related documentation;
  • Investigate and resolve product, agent, and commission issues in the Policy Admin System;
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Life & Annuity insurance package and systems technology;
  • Good understanding of the Annuities and Life Insurance domain;
  • Experience in Product Setup & Policy Admin System Management;
  • Experience in Insurance Business Process and Operations;
  • Experience in Unit Test case creation and execution;
  • Strong communication, organization, problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Good understanding of APIs, databases, XML, JSON.
