Limelight Hotels are contemporary properties set in the heart of authentic mountain and urban communities owned and operated by Aspen Hospitality. The current portfolio includes Limelight Hotel Aspen and Limelight Hotel Snowmass in Colorado; and the Limelight Hotel Ketchum near Sun Valley in Idaho. Limelight Hotel Denver opens on May 4th, 2023, and two additional Limelight Hotels in Mammoth, California, and Boulder, Colorado, are slated to open in 2024 and 2025, respectively. Position Summary
This position is responsible for generating business transient business and maximizing revenue profitability using proactive sales activities in accordance with established hotel brand standards
Pay range for this position is between $61,108 to $79,440. Pay is determined based on experience and qualifications. This position is eligible for incentive.
Essential Functions
- Achieves business travel revenue goals
- Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed business travel revenue goals through telephone prospecting, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication
- Produces business transient revenue through prospecting, delivering presentations, developing contracts, negotiating and closing sales
- Maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel to both current and potential clients
- Handle account details in a manner that all aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and documented
- Collaborate effectively with various departments in order to service accounts to high standards
- Meet and entertain clients
- Provide clear direction to all departments in the hotel to ensure high quality of service to customers
- Participate in daily business review meeting, pre-convention meetings, training and other sales-related meetings as required
- Attend trade shows, industry meetings, and community events.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
- High school or GED equivalent
- 3 plus years of hotel sales experience with experience in luxury hotel sales
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management preferred
- Advanced knowledge of market trends, competition and key customers of the hotel
- Must possess computer skills, including, but not limited to, use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Delphi
- Advanced knowledge of sales skills and revenue management
- Knowledge of hotel operations
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences
- Excellent presentation skills

Work Environment and physical demands
Position works in a standard office environment. Position requires walking, standing, and sitting for extended periods of time. Requires occasional travel.
