Position: CAD Drafter/Engineer (HVAC)

Client is a manufactures high efficiency heating and cooling equipment, we have been a leader in the commercial HVAC industry since 1999. Our systems offer the most cost-effective and innovative approach on the market. This position is located at our manufacturing facility in Ponca City, OK.

Summary :CAD Drafter/Engineer (HVAC)

This individual will be responsible for working with new and current customers to draft and model HVAC equipment to the individual customers specifications. This individual will then create and communicate project drawings with the shop for production. There will also be some travel to job sites to get drawing measurements and job specific information.

Job Duties include: CAD Drafter/Engineer (HVAC)

• Utilizing SolidWorks and Excel daily to make project submittal documents for customers
• Load calculations along with electrical calculations for new equipment
• Frequently communicating with engineers and customers to gather specific job specifications
• Reading blueprints and schematics specifications
• Constant communication with the shop through the manufacturing process to make sure all drawings are accurate, and equipment is built correctly
• Must be open to travel

Qualifications: CAD Drafter/Engineer (HVAC)

• 2 years of SolidWorks preferred, open to AutoCAD or like software
• Must be able to read and utilize a tape measure
• Strong technical skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent listening skills
• Good team player who can also work independently
• High level of integrity and work ethic
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Willingness to travel regionally and stay overnight

Open to Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Design Engineering experience.
