The Cafe Head Chef leads and inspires the café savory kitchen team to exceed our guest’s expectations at every opportunity by creating amazing dishes from scratch while upholding the execution of Tatte’s service and product standards. The Cafe Head Chef also embodies the passion we have for our savory team members (prep cooks, line cooks, and dishwashers) by proactively developing them as a team and as individual culinary professionals.

Your recipe for success:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience, depending upon formal degree or training within a high-volume sophisticated restaurant operation.
• Proven passion for culinary excellence and exceeding guest expectations.
• Love amazing food and people.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, cost controls, and presentation.

Working Conditions / Essential Functions:

• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs (including but not limited to, days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and as emergencies arise)
• Able to work ten hour-plus shifts, plus ability to stand, sit, squat or walk for extended periods of time, walk up and down stairs, and read
• Able to grasp, reach overhead, push, lift and carry up to 50 pounds
