CAM Bookkeeper
Acts as the data entry, accounting and bookkeeper of the Community Association Management Division (CAM) in Sebastian, FL. Serves as a liaison between the property managers, agents and vendors as well as owners and staff for accounting purposes. Manages a portfolio of properties through accounting software with customer service and care. Completes administrative as well as accounting duties with strict deadlines – both daily and monthly. Duties and Responsibilities
*Acts as the data entry, accounting and bookkeeper of the CAM Division.
*Regular Upkeep of accounting books, accounts payable & accounts receivable for property management
* Maintains intimate knowledge of the portfolio of properties and agent commission information
*Greets customers as they enter the office, call into the office, or any other communications/visits with the office
*Presents a professional image to any current or potential customers
*Answers telephones, emails and any other form of communication for the company
*Accounting/Bookkeeping duties:
*Accounts payable – Residential & Commercial
*Payment to property owners, vendors & management fees
*Post incoming rents and prepare deposits; post security deposits to escrow accounts
*Reconciliation of bank deposits; preparation of commissions; sales taxes; payment processing
of county and state taxes; closing out the month
*Maintains database of new owners/tenants
*Serves as a liaison between property managers, agents & vendors as well as owners and staff
*Manages accounting for a portfolio or properties through accounting softwares
*Maintains files for rental and property management office
*Pulls reports/logs for office and company; may assist Property Manager with logs/reports
*Maintains confidential information on agents and customers’ adheres to ethical and
Confidentiality agreements put forth by the company
*Completes accounting duties with strict deadlines
*Completes duties within CINC Accounting Software
*Reads ledgers for tenants and owners
*Posts payments to ledgers
*Uploads information to tenant, owners and vendor pages
*Creates, pays and administers Accounts Payable
*Generates reports for property management leadership and managers
*Professional demeanor and attire
*Ability to multi-task and keep up with fast paced environment
*Physical requirements involve sitting to perform general office work at a computer and mobility
Throughout an office
*Self-directed; ability to work both independently and in a team environment
*Ability to learn new skills rapidly and accurately; ability to consistently meet deadlines; ability to produce work accurately is a must
*Strong organizational abilities
*Computer skills-basic (typing, basic spreadsheets, emails, texting and using real estate software
Systems)
*Computer skills-real estate (real estate software preferred); marketing (understanding of Adobe and an other marketing software preferred)
*Must be able to work full time
Requirements
*Highschool diploma required; college preferred
*Bookkeeping background required; CAM preferred; 2 years preferred
*Prior property management experience a plus, CINC experience desired
*Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; G-suite software preferred
*Background check required for employment
