Day Camp Counselor
We're hiring day camp counselors to be part of the R.C. Durr YMCA team for summer 2023!

Starting pay is $13/hour.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise program participants in camp programs.
- Plan & implement program activities that are culturally relevant & developmentally appropriate.
- Maintain safety & cleanliness standards.
- Maintain positive relationships with campers, parents & staff.
- Follow YMCA policies & procedures, including those related to ACA standards, medical & disciplinary situations, child abuse prevention, and emergencies.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be available summer 2023, with trainings beginning in April/May.
- Must be available M-F between the hours of 6:30 am - 6:00 pm, for a 6-8 hour shift daily.
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a camp setting.
- CPR & First Aid certifications must be obtained/maintained throughout employment.
