POSITION SUMMARY

The Cannabis Concierge works one-on-one with guests to recommend products that best match their needs. Responsible for ensuring an excellent guest experience through friendly, outgoing service, strong communication skills, and fluency in all products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Welcoming customers and creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere • Verifying proper paperwork, documentation, and ID for guests

• Providing accurate and up-to-date information on various strains, products, and consumption methods

• Answering questions and addressing concerns regarding the effects, benefits, and risks of cannabis use

• Advising customers on dosage, potency, and proper usage of cannabis products

• Making recommendations based on customer preferences and needs

• Educating customers on the various types of cannabis products available, such as edibles, concentrates, and topicals

• Assisting customers in finding the products that best fit their desired experience or health concerns

• Demonstrating knowledge of local and state cannabis regulations, and ensuring compliance with them

• Handling transactions and maintaining accurate records of sales

• Ensuring the store is clean, organized, and properly stocked with inventory

• Collaborating with other team members to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the success of the business.

• Conducting end-of-shift close of cash drawer with accuracy and identifying any variances

• Performing other duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

• Must be 21 years of age

• Knowledge of cannabis required

• One year of hospitality or customer service experience required; cannabis industry experience preferred

• Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekend and evening hours

Concierge Job Description

• Basic computer skills, Point of Sale software, and cash management.

• Basic mathematical skills and an ability to handle money and give correct change

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

The employee is regularly exposed to strong cannabis odors and is frequently required to handle cannabis products. Employee must be able to continuously reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop and wipe with the potential for slipping or tripping. The employee must frequently wash their hands and lift or move up to 35 pounds.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
