The Cardiovascular Tech II (CVT II) establishes, implements, evaluates and revises as appropriate, the Plan of Care, based upon continuous assessment and interpretation of biological, psychosocial and environmental data in order to meet the identified patient care / significant other's needs.

Assists the physicians with scrubbing and recording cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures, peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, device implants, and TAVR procedures.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). Graduate of an accredited School of Cardiovascular Technology and/or RCIS certification and/or ARRT IR

Experience:

Two years experience in licensed field and one year cardiac cath lab experience.

Licensure:

State of Florida professional license or certification and RCIS registry or ARRT Interventional Radiology credential

Training:

Current BLS Certification from the American Red Cross (HCA chosen provider) OR American Heart Association is required.

Skills: Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
