Care Services Manager
Salary Range: £39,282 - £43,128
Working Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Carlton Drive, Wigston
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to take lead and manage our 7-bedded short breaks service based in Wigston for individuals with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD). We are seeking someone who is passionate about delivering positive outcomes and can lead and manage a large diverse team.
You’ll be expected to achieve all the performance standards you’d anticipate working in a busy social care service. You will need to be a highly motivated, self-disciplined individual, able to work using their own initiative within strict guidelines and parameters.
As a Care Services Manager, you will play a crucial role for the quality of care within the service, managing the team to achieve the best possible outcomes for the residents, whilst providing a safe and secure environment and maintaining CQC and Quality Care Standards.
Key responsibilities of the position of Care Services Manager will include:
- that high standards of care and support are maintained through implementing the quality governance framework.
- that the service complies with all relevant legislation and registration requirements by establishing, maintaining, and monitoring procedures as well as maintaining awareness of developments within the sector.
- To identify concerns through robust quality assurance (eg: audits) internally and externally generated and agree and implement actions to address same, adding actions to the action plan.
- To develop and deliver agreed actions within approved timescales as detailed on the action plan and ensure it is shared with relevant parties.
- Ensure that all residents always receive the highest standard of care, best practice and the philosophy of care.
- Ensure the service meets all regulatory and statutory requirements, including CQC, Fire, H&S, COSHH, Learning & Development, employment and compliance with the appropriate Acts.
