Workforce Development, Inc. is looking for a friendly, and professional Career Planner to join our team in Wabasha, MN. Workforce Development, Inc. is a private non-profit organization dedicated to developing and advancing the workforce of South East MN. We are a customer-focused, action-oriented team of professionals dedicated to the principles of Respect, Integrity, Innovation, Education and Community. We value the creativity that comes from having a diverse mix of talented employees.

A successful candidate will serve as Career Planner to customers in Wabasha County. The right candidate will make a difference in people’s lives daily by providing career planning services, developing employment and training plans, administering and interpreting assessments, providing job search and placement services, teaching job search techniques to individuals and groups, and delivering case management for our customers. Ideally this person would have experience in career planning/case management, working with employers to assist in meeting workforce needs, and working with culturally diverse populations but not required. In addition, this person will have the ability to maintain confidentiality and data privacy, work cooperatively in a team setting, pay attention to detail, and will possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
