The Caregiver Development Manager (CDM) is responsible for recruitment, selection, and initial placement of exceptional Caregivers; ensuring TheKey always has sufficient resources to meet our clients’ needs and growth objectives. The CDM may be responsible for performing certain training and Human Resources administrative functions for Caregivers.
The Caregiver Development Manager will be the first face of TheKey to our team of Caregivers and, therefore, must be a professional in knowledge, action, and appearance while also creating a strong, positive relationship with prospective and current Caregivers. Consequently, the CDM has a critical role in creating the desired company culture.
Specific Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative and effective recruitment strategies across multiple channels for traditional as well as non-traditional Caregiver candidates
- Complete and document required metrics to evaluate the entire recruitment process as well as specific initiatives
- Monitor effectiveness of recruiting initiatives and adjust as necessary
- Recruit for Caregiver Openings
- Contact with current Caregivers based on process
- Managing caregiver recruiting sources such as Internet and Print Advertising
- Writing and posting job ads
- Responding to caregiver applicant inquiries
- Sourcing caregiver candidates through resume databases
- Promoting caregiver referrals
- Creating local awareness through appropriate community events and job fairs
- Managing the new hire onboarding process
- Conduct screening and in-person interviews of applicants
- Conduct reference and background checks
- Make selection decision and follow-up with the appropriate correspondence
Knowledge and Skills Requirements of the Caregiver Development Manager:
- Sales acumen/experience
- Previous experience recruiting, screening, and hiring an hourly workforce
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
