Caregiver/Med Tech

Advinia Care Venice is looking for exceptional candidates for our Caregivers/Med Tech, weekends only Sat-Sun.

We are a skilled nursing, memory care and assisted living community in the heart of beautiful Venice, FL. Prior senior living experience preferred but not required. JOB DESCRIPTION

A team-oriented individual with a positive attitude that will assist the residents who have difficulties completing basic tasks throughout the day and night. Their responsibilities include medication management, grooming, incontinence care, food preparation, feeding, bathing, laundry, light housekeeping. Furthermore, by following safety policies and procedures they will help in maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment for the residents. They should always encourage an atmosphere of optimism, warmth, and sincere concern for each of our residents, making a positive impact in their lives and their families.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Preferred-CNA/Active License.
• BLS/CPR Certificate.
• TB.
• MMR.
• Previous experience working with seniors and desire to serve and care for seniors.
• Experience with Alzheimer’s or dementia care.
• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous Med Passer experience required.
• The ability to provide care across a variety of settings, including group homes and day service programs.
