Job description
Essential Functions* of the position are detailed below and include any physical requirements checked below:
1. Handles a wide array of administrative tasks to ensure compliance with agency/programmatic policies and procedures, professional standards, external requirements of all relevant regulatory, licensing or accrediting bodies in the course of performing job expectations.
2. Acts as a liaison between participants and department director in the absence of the Care Coordinator.
3. Initiates billing system and ensures that billing to State and other funders is timely, accurate and complete.
4. Responsible for maintaining, updating and submitting routine and ad-hoc reports, as necessary.
5. Maintains up-to-date and accurate client files and databases, as required by agency/programmatic policies and procedures, professional standards, and external requirements of all relevant regulatory, licensing or accrediting bodies in the course of performing job expectations.
6. Contacts participants to verify needs and answer questions.
7. Completes all required documentation in accordance with agency/programmatic policies and procedures, professional standards, and external requirements of all relevant regulatory, licensing or accrediting bodies.
8. Contacts vendors to ensure services are in place to meet participants plan of care.
9. Maintains up to date knowledge current in the field by attending but not limited to seminars, workshops and in-service trainings and obtains 14 professional development hours annually per requirements of Illinois Department of Aging.

X Kneel and move from sitting, bending, kneeling or standing multiple times a day.
X Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds.
Climb up and down up to flights of stairs at a time.
X Lift up to 35 pounds.

Agency-specified automobile insurance
X Additional Requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Knowledge of ECCPIS database preferred.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Relevant Education:
Preferred: Associate's Degree
Minimum: High School

Relevant Experience:
Preferred: 2 Years administrative and/or customer service.
Minimum: 1 Year administrative and/or customer service.
