THE OUTPATIENT CLINIC DIRECTOR - works collaboratively with other CBHC leadership to oversee all aspects of CBHC clinical and administrative operations with a particular focus on providing routine evidence-based behavioral health treatment.

Leadership is strengths-based and guided by the agency strategic principles of community responsiveness, team-based, whole person care, ready access to care, high quality and evidence-based treatment and outcome-driven management. The PD/PM is responsible for aligning agency initiatives with staff readiness and implementing any training or change initiatives which may be needed to close gaps in alignment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS*

➢ Provides mission-aligned, comprehensive, strength-based leadership to assigned team(s), if overseeing more than one clinic/program) and domain(s).

➢ Ensures that all individuals served receive timely, appropriate evidence-based care, based on presenting need and best practice treatment guidelines.

➢ Ensures that staff are adequately trained to deliver services and have support to be successful in their employment.

➢ Ensures that all agency and department initiatives are implemented to fidelity with the protocol and timelines of the agency. This may include access/individuals served assignment, community contract management, compliance, evidence-based treatment implementation, new hire/ intern training and support, or any other area of clinic or department operations.

➢ Monitors operational metrics to ensure they are within agency and department expectations. Metrics include but are not limited to: scheduling expectations, documentation guidelines for quality and timeliness, clinician caseloads, utilization management initiatives and program revenue/expense reports.

➢ Documents all operational activities per department protocol.

➢ Facilitates team meetings, staff meetings, trainings, etc. as appropriate and per department protocol.

➢ In partnership with other CBHC directors, provides leadership, support and back-up coverage as needed to ensure that CBHC services are delivered per specification during operational hours.

Our Program Directors have the following qualities:

Five years' experience in staff supervision and program management (required).
Bachelor’s degree in a human services field (required).
Knowledge of managing contractual relationships with funders.
Familiarity with DCF and other state agencies.
Familiarity with internet, word processing, and email systems.
Must have a valid Massachusetts driver’s license and an automobile available during working hours.
