Idaho Milk Transport is looking for Class-A CDL Drivers to transport bulk food grade liquid to our customers within the 11 Western and Midwest states.

IMTI is a rapidly growing family-owned and operated trucking business serving markets in 20 U.S states as well as Canada, hauling food grade commodities since 1986. Our Headquarters office and terminal is based in Burley, ID

• Paid by the mile (.58 CPM loaded and .47 unloaded depending on experience)

Minimum Hiring Guidelines:

• 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience within the past 5 years; Required
• Clean driving record; Preferred
• No major violations within the last 5 years (DUI, DWI, reckless endangerment, possession of a controlled substance, felonies, license suspension)
• Must have a valid Class A CDL along with a tankers and doubles/triples endorsement
• Must possess a valid DOT medical certificate issued by a certified medical examiner
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Applicant must provide a full and complete employment background for the previous 5 years
• Applicant must successfully pass a road test in equipment similar to which will be operated
• Applicant must have knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
• Applicant must have the flexibility to work nights and weekends; we are a 24/7, 365 day a year operation

Responsibilities:

• Transport liquid bulk product over land to and from processing plants.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving on ELD unit
• Input “macros” into our automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading process
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents, or violations
