Job description

The CDL/Yard Dog Operator is responsible for transporting, loading and unloading product and raw materials between facilities within a quarter mile, conducting vehicle inspections, and following all DOT regulations.

Days only. Mon-Friday

Responsibilities:

• Follow all company safety policies and practices, as well as DOT requirements.
• Drive semi-trailer, yard dog and box truck between facilities.
• Prepare and verify applicable record keeping (reports, forms, audits, logs, etc.).
• Assist in training and transition of new or transferred employees.
• Load and unload trucks as needed.
• Drive forklift as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• CDL A license, with clean driving record
• Forklift certification or ability to be certified within 30 days
• Clean driving record
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Basic math skills
• Applicable job experience
• Ability to complete assigned tasks in timely manner
• Must be able to pass post-offer drug screen, background check, and physical
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
