Certified Medical Assistant Dermatology

As we continue to grow, we are looking for new talent in 2023 to join our family & now is the perfect time to apply. Expanding Dermatology practice/location is seeking a Full-time Certified Medical Assistant to work with our team of medical dermatologists and physician assistants in a fast-paced environment. We have three convenient locations in Old Bridge, Freehold, & Union NJ. All new and state of the art! We’re looking for a professional who believes that patients should be treated as people rather than numbers in a file, and who understands the value of compassionate service. There are a few advancement opportunities for the successful applicant.

Requirements:

-Current or last job must be 2 years. If not, resume will not be considered. no exceptions

-Dermatology or specialty clinic preferred: 1 year

-CMA certification or LPN licensure required

-Compliance with OSHA and CLIA standards

-Above-average typing skills

Medical Assistant Duties:

- Previous dermatology or specialty clinic experience preferred. Experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.

- Rooming patients- obtaining detailed medical histories

- Assisting with and performing various dermatology procedures

- Injecting

- Scribing- documentation

- Patient education

-Triage

- Record patient information such as vital signs, weight and changes in medical history prior to each appointment

- Clean and prepare examination rooms prior to patient appointments
